i am an artist and a psychiatrist who is just starting this blog to get to know about blogging.
i am writing this second sentence after two years! i was blogging at ibibo which started more out of a socializing curiosity than sharing thoughts and writings. ibibo was catering to a different group, and this blog was made to reach out to more people.
i have my obsessions, but did not have the compulsion to write till now. though Dr.Raguram made me open this account in 2006, it is actually my friends and comrades R and M who have really inspired me to write further, therefore does this actually begin in 2008, just as how a baby takes time to talk sometimes even two years after its birth.
this will not be a blotched autobiography. it will be an expression of my angst, which does not have a cathartic theatrical outlet. it will also be my expressions of wonder- for life is not always painful.

Written and directed 11 plays in Tamil which include Oedipus, Macbeth, Kafka’s Trial and Metamorphosis and stage adaptations of LaSaRa’s Apitha
Written & directed 4 documentaries on schizophrenia and one on mental health
Author of 14 books in Tamil -on psychology, psychiatry, philosophy and theatre
Artist and sculptor, self-taught –First group show at the age of 19, first solo show at the age of 31,Paintings and sculptures for many institutions.
Bilingual writer and speaker, on various socially relevant topics.And what else,

All the best. UR talk on raj t.v. abt. Osho few years back helped me to cross check how deep my love for Osho is. Ur autograph on his kathopanishad book (book exhibition) prevented me to gift it to an unworthy person . My gratefulness will continue. Nice to see u .

Vanakkam sir, your critical analysis about law college incident is different and thought provoking. Hello viewer”s Dr.Rudhran shared something about him. As i am his student i want to share few things about him. Basically he is a very good human being/good clinician/ethicaldoctor/man with enormous intelligence-creativity. If his past emotions/mood/thought were consistent and stable now he might went to greater heights. All those were stable for Kannadasan and jayakanthan now the antisocial elements like karunanithiand jayalalitha may not be in the histroy of tamilnadu. Sorry! Dear Dr,
I remain confused by the people who hail Dr Abdul Kalam for his so called discoveries. when there was Pokhran I, the Pokran II and Kalam are brought to limelight. he never made any remarks on Post godhra genocide. what we can do now with those atom bombs , i.e., in retaliation for mumbai attack. and it has become a fashion to mention his name whenever our heroes( in every field) address people.

Have you ever thought Dr about the possibility of one being consciously aware with the thought process being absent, which is termed as samadhi by traditional teachers, and, ” CHOICELESS AWARENESS,” and, ” ATTENTION,” by J.K? Do you subscribe to the thoughts of U.G.Krishnamurti that apart from the biological mechanism, which is a manifestation of life, there is no individuality remanifesting in another form. According to U.G life fulfills its purpose in manifestation and that there is no individuality. He seems to be a modern advaitin.

At last, I feel I have connected with you again ( I am a voracious reader of your writings.. I could not get your books in recent times ( Is there any book published after ‘Atho Antha Paravai’?). Though I met you only two times personally (for counselling purpose), I wouldn’t be I am what I am today without your books. Still I purchase your books (esp Thevaikal Aasaikal) to give gifts to my beloved ones. And I have read your Atho Antha Paravai more than 10 times, still I could not digest the strange feeling I felt while reading.
Seeing your books in my book shelf is also giving a wonderful mood to my Existence. Though I am familiar with this kind of tech world viz.,blogs, e-books, etc., I could not reach the state of joy which we get during books reading. I request you to write more for books also.
May be it’s too late but not least.. Wish you all the best for your endeavours

Hi all,
I would like to share my Experience with Dr. Needless to say Dr. Rudran the best man that I could feel in the first meet itself.
I went to him today for getting counseling for my personal problem. Yeah its kinda cheating in love.
When I was about to start with the word love he understood everything, such a big person very keen to hear my each and every word and he was very noble to me.
The most touching part is when I was about pay the consulting fee, the receptionist told me its okay, whereas I’m ready spend anything that could relieve me from the stress, I’m having in the past days, which made me to think about his tendency a lot over and over. I do not believe in the concept of astrology and black magic remedies but I did because I was crazy about my love and it made me to do so. Those uneducated, illiterate who could know only about lemons, ropes etc charged me rs.1000 in just 2 mins, just to say if you do this you may get what you want and didn’t tell what to do? And he asked few more bucks to continue. But such a master in Psychiatrist and almost I’ve spent about Half –an – hour with his assistant and with Dr., who didn’t care about money rather he cared about me, makes me feel great about him. Thank you, sir. Thanks for your care. Please cast out my sorrows within myself.

Dear Doctor sir, Vanakam. I am very much inspired by your writings.Very rarely we come across great personalities like you.Your explorations of human mind with the deeper sense of philosophical outlook with proper studies of sociological back ground of human evolution with scientific analytical approach comprising the crux of the concept of life is absolutely required to be placed for the reading of people to mould their outlook towards life and society. I am a great fan of u.when I used to read about spritsat a smaller age when I am 10 my mother used to say stop this or I have to take to rudran sir.when I crossed each time ur kodambakkam clinic I used see the name board like people seeing hero’s poster.I have seen us interviews in tvduringmy small age.I am 33 now still I am very keen when u narrate something and ur expression of anger.a actor cannot be an actor till he really lives it.and us angers r true.I am vijaya sir .
